HyperOptik Spectacle Studio

Old-school opticianry, kept alive.

Fitting, lens work, repair, personalization, customizing — the abilities almost no other shop has kept. We never let them go.

The work

What we still do by hand.

  1. 01

    Fitting

A frame is fitted to your face — temple length, nose pads, pantoscopic tilt, the lot. Done right, you forget you're wearing it. That's the whole point.

  2. 02

    Lenses

Custom lens work and treatments, going back to the Fashion Tints heritage — double-gradient tints, hand-ground facets, engravings, inlays. We process lenses ourselves rather than hand them to an insurance lab.

  3. 03

    Repairs

Bring the frames you love back to life. Many small repairs and adjustments we simply do — often at no charge — because that's how a shop is supposed to work.

  4. 04

    Personalization

Customizing and the small, particular touches that make a pair yours. The old opticians' habits, still practiced.

A note

Bring the frames you love back to life.

The frames you've worn for years are usually worth saving. We'd rather adjust, repair and re-lens a pair you trust than sell you something new you don't need. Our reviews are full of people who walked in expecting a bill and walked out without one.

Plain talk

We're not in network for vision plans — and that's the point.

We're not in network for VSP, EyeMed, Cole Vision, Spectera, or any vision plan. We sell on curation and fit, not on what your benefit covers — and high-end frames don't belong in an insurance lab. It keeps us honest, and it keeps the work ours.

How to pay us a visit
  • Flex & HSA welcome. Use your Flex Plan or HSA funds toward frames and lenses.
  • Out-of-network reimbursement. Some plans reimburse out-of-network — we'll give you what you need to submit.
  • No exams here. Bring your current prescription; we handle the frame and the lenses.

Come by the studio.

Walk in during shop hours. There's nothing to book — just bring the frames or the idea, and we'll take it from there.
